How Raven reasons through a chart.

Every swing analysis follows the same seven sections, in the same order. The structure forces the work: trend before momentum, momentum before catalyst, catalyst before setup, setup before verdict. Below is one report as it would display with annotations on what each section answers and why it sits where it does.

First, the ground truth.

Price, day change, range, volume, market cap, beta, earnings date. The numbers everyone agrees on. The snapshot fixes the frame so every claim that follows has a reference point.

Then, the trend.

Three timeframes – 4 hour, daily, weekly – checked against EMA20, EMA50, EMA200. Below the section, the key structural levels: pivots, swing support, swing resistance. You can’t trade a setup without knowing which way the river is running.

Then, the energy.

RSI, MACD, Bollinger position, ATR. Is the trend accelerating, decelerating, or stretched? A strong trend without momentum is suspect; strong momentum without trend is noise. Both have to read together.

Then, the news.

Scheduled events, recent headlines, Reddit sentiment. The technicals say what the price is doing; the catalyst says whether they’re about to be overruled. A pending earnings call within two sessions changes the verdict.

Then, the trade.

Setup type, entry zone, stop, two targets, risk-reward. Each value tied back to a level identified in earlier sections – the entry anchored to the EMA50 band from Section 2, the stop positioned at the daily swing support cluster. Nothing pulled from thin air.

Then, the tally.

Seven signals scored plus, neutral, or minus. A way to see, at a glance, where the weight of evidence sits. The verdict isn’t a vote count – but if you’ve read this far and want a summary, the scorecard is it.

Finally, the answer.

One of five verdicts and a paragraph of reasoning. The reasoning earns the verdict – every claim cited from a section above. If you disagree with the verdict, you can audit the chain back to the evidence.

The same framework runs on every chart the system sees. The verdict differs. The structure does not.
